Overview

The walk will start from the Castle Drogo Car Park which is the  last castle built in England.  We will pass Hunts Tor as we descend into the Teign Valley, walking through the Deer Park, on to Fingle Bridge. There is then a steep climb through the woods above the river for around a quarter of a mile. We will then pass Sharp Tor and might even see a fairy on our return!

We will probably visit a pub/café after the walk.

Please book with John Howell for the walk and please state if interested in food after the walk.

In association with Dartmoor Preservation Association.
