A circular walk starting from Rackenford All Saints Church where we walk to West Backstone then join the Two Moors Way when, on a clear day, we can take in lovely distant views. Arriving at Canworthy Common we skirt Knowstone Moor possibly spotting a Red Deer or two. Heading south we pass Haresdown Cross and past Rackenford Manor, east Nutcott and back to the village church in Rackenford.
Moderate/leisurely walk with some gentle ascents across fields, tracks and some road walking.
