Overview

A short but hilly walk through one of the remaining fragments of the Manor of Duryard, today a beautiful green oasis close to the centre of Exeter. The walk will begin by descending the footpath from Belvedere Road to Lower Argyll Road. Then from Clydesdale Avenue, we enter the university landscaped gardens that were once part of the Duryard estate to reach Reed Hall, where if open, we can stop at the café for refreshments. Then on to the track known as Belvidere Road and uphill to the glorious Belvidere meadows at the top of the Duryard valley and return to the car park.
