Overview

Depending on the conditions, particularly of the River Exe on the day.

  1. Pass the Church to drop down to the bridge to cross the River Exe. Upstream along the bank of the Exe to then turn East to join the alternative route of the Exe Valley Way, passing Burrow Farm on the way to Stoke Canon. Then use the track bed of the old railway to return to Brampford Speke.
  2. Using Footpaths and Bridleways across fields, passing the Churches of Brampford Speke and Upton Pyne. Probably returning via Woodrow Barton.

Park roadside on the main road going thorough Brampford Speke, Exeter side of meeting point best.
