Overview

After the first slightly steeper section alongside Skill Beck, the walk gently rises to a stunning viewpoint using wide forestry tracks.  The descent again uses wide forestry tracks -some steeper than the ascent - to return.

There could be an optional extra of a walk to the summit at the lunchtime, adding 300 feet of climbing and about a mile to the distance.
