We are the Exeter and District Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
From County Gate CP descend the scenic path to Malmsmead then along the Lorna Doone valley (Badgworthy Water) before crossing wide open moorland and farmland to Oreford. Climb out of the valley to cross the A39 and descend to join the SW Coast path for a short distance before climbing back up to County Gate. This is quite a hard walk both because or the amount of ascent and possibly the underfoot conditions.
