Overview

A lovely circular walk from Norsworthy bridge.

This is a walk that involves some ups and downs but nothing too hilly!  It will be taken at a fairly leisurely pace with opportunities to pause and appreciate the beauty of Deancombe.

Setting off from Norsworthy bridge we shall take the path beside Middleworth Plantation before turning down to Narrator Brook.  This is a beautiful area, particularly in the spring but it can remain muddy for some time after a wet winter.

Small paths follow the brook which we cross below Combeshead Tor.  From there we shall walk to the stone row and return on the northern side of Down Tor above Newleycombe Lake.

We will have a coffee break as well as a number of short stops to savour the atmosphere of this delightful area.

Please book by text to walk leader.
