Overview

There are hilly sections and some parts will be very muddy and slippery, so sensible footwear and possibly poles are recommended.
A moderate paced walk but with frequent short stops at points of interest.
There are a few short sections of road walking, but mostly we will be crossing heath and parkland.   We  will take in various follies and foibles on Hampstead Heath, including the Pergola.
We pass through the Sandy Heath, Kenwood Estate, Highgate Village and Waterlow Park.
There are plenty of drop out points if you wish to shorten your walk.
