Overview

This rewarding circular walk follows the Reservoir Trail around Llandegfedd in a clockwise direction. The full route is now open, including the section through Cwm-bwrwch Wood, meaning you no longer need to walk up the road from the dam.

The trail offers a varied mix of landscapes, including:

  • Woodland paths
  • Open meadows
  • Common land
  • A sunken lane
  • Farm tracks
  • A newly laid stony path through the woods

Scenery

Expect a wonderful range of views—from peaceful shoreline glimpses to sweeping panoramas as the trail climbs the higher ground to the west and north of the reservoir.
