We are the Leeds Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
From Lofthouse we will make our way along a short section of the Nidderdale Way before turning off to encounter a steep climb onto the moors and up to Ouster Bank Trig (weather permitting). Please note the terrane is rough up to the trig point following grouse paths. On a good day there will be good views. On returning to the road path we will see over Sype Land, Fountains Earth Moor and its rocks and crags only leaving the path for a short period. We head down to Bouthwaite and then follow a good path back to Lofthouse through the fields and tracks.
Some of the terrane difficult and we may have to stick to the path if there is a heavy rain the day/night before. Moderate pace
