We are the Mid Wiltshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

We start the walk in the car park of the Pewsham pub and head east along old Derry road towards Nocketts hill. The lane is tarmaced and rises steadily. From the top of the hill we should have good views west towards Chippenham.
We follow lanes and tracks towards Bowden Park descending towards Bewley common NT. We pick up a short section of road heading towards Lacock but turn off to walk across the water meadows. There are lovely views of Lacock Abbey NT
On reaching the bridge at Reybridge we cross fields and pick up the old canal towpath back towards The Pewsham. We may be lucky to see Heron and Kingfishers.
Please bring a snack and plenty of water especially if it's hot. There are a few stiles

Park responsibly in the Pewsham car park bearing in mind the car park will be busy later on for Sunday Lunch customers. I have talked to Chris, the landlord, and he is happy for us to park there.
