Overview

At a relaxed pace the walk goes along the north bank of the Thames through Bishops Park to Hammersmith Bridge. Then on to Chiswick House, Barnes Bridge and Barnes Common. The route returns to Putney following Beverley Brook and the Thames path.

Lunch:  Picnic/café at Chiswick House.

Train: Putney Bridge Underground station is served by the District line (Wimbledon train).
