Meet at 10.30am at the Britannia car park adjacent to the bus station in the centre of Tadcaster for a pleasant 6.5mile walk.
We cross over the main road and head north along the River Wharfe for about a mile, crossing over the A659 road onto the footpath up to a tiny little place called Smaws. From here we head over to Rudgate taking in some lovely panoramic views. We then head on to the very pretty village of Newton Kyme, through a gate and passing the church back down to the River Wharfe which we follow back to Tadcaster.
Some very small inclines. May be muddy so please ensure you have the right gear. May be cows in fields. Ample space in car park. Was free at time of recce. Regular Coastliner buses from Leeds.
Couple of pubs or a coffee house to choose from after the walk for those who wish to partake.
PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL. It will not reach me! Just phone or text - I will get back to you.
