A village tour in Autumn

Starting at Dalton Community Centre this walk also visits the villages of Gayles, Kirby Hill, Washton and Ravensworth. It is a lovely walk across fields, paths and minor roads with excellent countryside views. The walk is mainly flat, 750 ft. ascent, but Please be aware that there are 21 stiles, of which 4 are difficult. This makes the walk much more challenging and time consuming. Fields will be muddy and likely boggy in places and there are areas of long grass/fern. A number of paths are little used and poorly marked.
