Overview

If you like myself enjoy a robust discussion after reading a book then this is the group for you. Join me for another great discussion at the Capital Walkers Bookclub on Monday 15 September.

The book for September is Persuasion by Jane Austin. 2025 is the 250th anniversary of her birth and an ideal opportunity to engage with some of her work.  It is available in paperback, kindle and audio editions and in many public libraries. Our book each month is currently chosen by those present at the previous meeting.

Booking is required for this event as places will be limited. Please text 07479964411 or email the event organiser on walkleading@capitalwalkers.org.uk to secure your place.

A WhatsApp group shall be set up to communicate the meeting place in central London. We shall meet from 6.30pm to enable people to get a drink and/or even dinner, for a prompt 7pm start, with a formal finish time of 8.30pm. For those who wish there will be the option of lingering a little longer over a drink.
