This is a perfect opportunity to explore the beautiful countryside around Ashover. The route takes us from the Parish Hall to Fallgate, with its impressive quarry workings, and then on to Farhill, which lies directly below the iconic Ashover Rocks, also known as the Fabrick.
PLEASE NOTE UPDATED INFO: The recent recce has shown parts of the route to be very wet, and to avoid some difficult ascents, the route has been changed to omit Farhill, and avoid some waterlogged paths. The walk will mostly be on firm tracks, with some quiet lanes and roads, but there will still be some sections of field paths which hopefully will not be too muddy. There are a few stiles, including a very tight squeeze stile. Some ascents to be taken at a suitably gentle pace.
