Overview

From Gunthorpe we will walk to Caythorpe and then on to Hoveringham, using quiet lanes and tracks, also following the course of a clear stream through open farmland. From Hoveringham we will head towards the River Trent, where we will then have approximately two miles walking alongside the river back to our starting point. Hopefully this will be a lovely sunny day so we can enjoy refreshments sitting on the river bank. Please bring drinks for a coffee stop, and also a snack (or lunch) for a second stop.
