Dockray and Matterdale End

We will follow a stony path along the lower slopes of Gowbarrow as we head towards Matterdale End. There will then be road walking on quiet country lanes and then bridleways as we make our way towards High Row and Crookwath, we then follow a hillside path through Lucy's Wood and down to the start point.

Due to the inclement weather there is likely to be muddy and boggy paths.

Please bring National Trust cards as parking is at High Cascades and Park Brow National Trust Car park

Dogs are welcome but must be under close control at all times, preferably on a lead.
