Overview

From the library in West Bridgford, we head for Melton Road to join the track of a former railway, now known as the Green Line. This wooded path has the feel of the countryside even though lines of houses are close by. The Green Line leads us to the village of Edwalton, where we have a drink break at the church. Then we join a path leading us to the Grantham Canal. After a pleasant walk along the canal towpath, we return to Bridgford Park and the Library.
