Overview

High Pike with an altitude of 658 metres (2159 feet) is the most northerly of the Lakeland Fells over 2000 feet. From the summit, on a clear day, there is an excellent view of the Solway Firth and the Scottish Border hills. From the common at Calebreck gentle paths and tracks, including part of the Cumbria Way, lead to the top of the fell. The return to Calebreck is in the direction of Miton Hill and then following Carrock Beck around the bottom of West Fell..
