Overview

We start at Loftus Hill car park. We walk out of Sedbergh along Howgill Lane to near Nursery Wood, then onto the hills up to Winder ( 1400 feet). We then contour to Crook, then down to Ashbeck Weir, then onto Sickers Fell. Then,  over to Knott, at which point I will read a poem in praise of  Knott written by ChatGPT in the style of a Shakespearean sonnet! Change of plan: to avoid the stream, we will walk back to Sickers Fell and then up to Dales High Way, and back along this path down to Sedbergh. I have booked in for tea/coffee at the Black Bull, Sedbergh.
