Overview

A local linear walk characterised by its simplicity and understated charm. From Patterdale, we join Wainwright’s Coast to Coast path and make a steady ascent towards High Street. On gaining the ridge, the landscape broadens and we turn northward for the long walk home to Tirril, tracing the ancient route trodden by Roman legionaries.
