A flat walk mainly on paths, though sections (especially along the rivers) might be muddy. Lunch options include a picnic or a choice of pubs, cafés and tea rooms in Cookham.

There is also an opportunity to visit the church (free) and / or the Stanley Spencer Gallery (£7, £3.50 with Art Pass) during lunch.
