We are the Mid Wiltshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

From the car park we follow a stream towards Burton and then fields back to Mere, where we go past the church and up steep hills around Castle Hill and onto White Sheet hills. We then return across the downlands back down into the town where we wind our way back. There is a short route of 4 miles if you stop at the church.
Bring refreshments for 2 stops. Some stiles; it may be muddy in places (chalk may be slippery) and livestock is possible.
You must book with the leader in the week preceding. Text preferred. You are not confirmed until you get a reply. Dogs are at the leader's discretion.
Meet in the car park off the B3095 in Mere. Charges may apply.
