We are the West London Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
FULLY BOOKED
Following the Capital Ring section 7, the route takes in Richmond riverfront, the Old Deer Park, Richmond Lock, Old Isleworth, Syon Park where we stop for a short comfort break. The walk then continues to Brentford Lock and the Grand Union Canal and after Osterley Lock continues a short way to Hanwell Lock Flight and the Fox pub where we raise a glass of mulled wine with mince pies. The cost is £7 per person (the committee has agreed to subsidise the event). A non-alcoholic alternative will be available for those who prefer it (£5).
Booking is essential and payment in advance would be appreciated. Please put the money in an envelope with your name on it and give it to Jackie, Vino or Carolyn if you see them on a walk or at the AGM or the Christmas lunch. If anyone would like to go straight to the pub, please let the leader know so we don't wait for you at Richmond.
