Overview

We will meet at Kew Gardens Station (District Line) — please wait outside the barriers at Platform 2 (trains towards Richmond).

There will be a toilet stop available after approximately 10 minutes’ walk.

From there, we’ll walk along the River Thames and then head towards Sheen Gate to enter Richmond Park.

We’ll stop for a picnic lunch in the park (café and toilets available).

After lunch, we’ll walk on to Isabella Plantation.  Potential drop-out point at Pembroke Lodge for anyone who would like to stop for tea or explore the terrace gardens.

We’ll then continue down through Petersham Meadows and finish at Richmond Station.
