Overview

From Cheshunt, the WAW continues along the Lea Navigation and Horsemill stream, then closely follows the Meridian Line before continuing through Kennel Wood to a trig point, offering good panoramic views. It then descends into Aimes Green before another steady hill climb reaching the high point of Galley Hill for another good panoramic view. The path then continues to the outskirts of Lower Nazing, crosses the Nazing Marsh via the Kings Weir then heads west to the New River to finish at Broxbourne. 

Please bring a packed lunch.

Toilets at Cheshunt station and Broxbourne Station, but plenty of alfresco opportunities. 

Travel – Return ticket to Broxbourne.  Train departs London Liverpool Street 10.08 (Arrive Cheshunt at 10.35).
