Overview

 B WALK DESCRIPTION: 9.5 miles with 750 ft of climbing - Leader Alan Daw. Circular from Lenchford Inn.  The terrain is mainly sandy.  The walk starts North through parkland and a vineyard to St Mary’s Church, Shrawley. Then meanders through fields, woods passing streams and pools to Glasshampton monastery.  Then north-east to Astley and the river and pub at Astley Burf. Then South back to Lenchford Inn. Picnic lunch, with pub stop in the afternoon. Maps Landranger 150; Explorer 204. The fare is £15.
