A walk featuring the Kennet and Avon (K&A) Canal, open downland and a hill fort. There is a steady climb up to Tan Hill which is one of the highest points in Wiltshire but the views compensate for this. The route uses field paths, tracks and quiet lanes. Some stiles
There may be livestock en route and sticks may be useful as it may be slippery. Please bring refreshments for one stop. We will be back for lunch.
