We are the Mid Wiltshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

We leave Avebury, passing through Avebury Trusloe and Beckhampton then continue on over fields and the downs up onto the Wansdyke. We return over Allington Down back down to pass the West Kennet Long Barrow (optional visit). Skirting Silbury hill, we then follow the River Kennet back to Avebury. Steady ascent and descent, some stiles. Expect lovely views. There may be livestock en-route and sticks may be useful as it could be muddy.
Bring lunch and refreshments for 2 stops.
