Booking Required
We have arranged a short walk leading to a private visit to Perivale Wood Local Nature Reserve (near Perivale Station) in order to enjoy the magnificent display of flowering bluebells. The Reserve occupies 27 acres, within which there are 18 acres of ancient mixed oak woodland where the bluebells thrive.
Normally access to the Reserve is only available to members of the Selborne Society (owners of the Reserve), but the Society arranges special public Open Days and private visits during April just for the bluebells. The cost for the visit is £5 per person which must be booked in advance. No attendance without booking.
There will be a short walk to get to the Reserve where the visitors are free to explore the Wood at leisure.
Approx 5miles (8km) from Ealing Common to Perivale via Hanger Hill Park and Pitshanger Park. Mostly flat, path and pavement with short ascent and descent for Hanger Hill.
Outside the station
After the visit find your way to Perivale underground station (for Central Line - and bus stop for 297 bus (Ealing Broadway to Willesden Bus Garage)
