Overview

9 mile Walk on Cleveland way and into Boltby Forest to reach Boltby with 1100fet of ascent. Walk north on drove road to Steeple Cross before descending through woods towards Kepwick but bear left along Windy Gill Ridge .All along good forest tracks but with muddy patches. Continue on good field paths with a few stiles to near Boltby before steep climb back on field path to Cleveland way at High Barns .Short descent to return. .
