Overview

This is a lovely walk with wonderful views over Holgate and Helwith Moors in morning as we head towards Helwith. We then follow the delightful Shaw Beck as we  head back though Washfold to a grand finale along Fremington Edge looking towards Swaledale to finish.

The walk begins with a climb up to Fremington Edge. This is a strenuous climb but after that we have a relatively straight forward although long walk using a mixture of paths over moorland and and good tracks with a bit of road walking along quiet roads. Finally we have a steep decent back into Reeth
