We are the Northallerton Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
From Moor Gate, north over Hawnby Moor, then West to the edge of Hazel Head Wood. After crossing the road, we walk along the northern side of the valley to Hill End Farm, then turn southwards to walk along the other side to Brewster Hill and Harker Gates. After a series of footbridges we cross the River Rye and go up to the flank of Hawnby Hill at Hill End House and return to Moor Gate .
May be muddy in stretches over the second part of the walk.
