Overview

From the car park we’ll walk along Ashburton Road, pick up a footpath beside Pottery Pond, looking out for Coots, Moorhens, and if we’re lucky the elusive Kingfisher.  The walk then proceeds along lanes and footpaths, one long hill but with fantastic views near the top, well worth the effort.  After the village of Lower Brimley we will walk through woods before we join the Templer Way and return to Bovey via Challabrook Farm.
