From sports centre, passing wildlife ponds, originally excavated in 1801/3 for the Tonedale Mills, and other industrial remains before we go on to Rockwell Green, Perry Elm, Prowse’s Mill and Farm. Then to Holywell Lake and walk along the remains of the Grand Western Canal before returning to the sports centre. Includes many stiles. Lunch probably on route.
