A circular route from Glenridding ascending one side of the impressive glacial valley of Grisedale Beck and descending the other side. The paths and tracks are clear, mostly with a stone / rocky surface, affording spectacular views over Glenridding and Ullswater. The walk initially is road-side path towards Patterdale turning right at the cricket field then along the Beck-side at the foot of St Sunday Crag.After crossing the Beck at the bridge return is on the other side back into Glenridding, passing Lanty’s Tarn.
