Overview

Taking in the disused railway – old “sausage” line between Calne and Chippenham, Stanley Abbey and the Wilts & Berks Canal.

Route: Cross A4 to Studley Hill foot, Stanley, New Leaze Farm, Pewsham, Pewsham Locks. Cross A4 3 times - one is old A4 near Pewsham Roads – 1 mile on “yellow” road. Mixture of surfaces but mostly firm going. No hills and only 4 obligatory stiles.

One stop: Bring snack.
