Overview

The walk will start at the Shearwater car park where we will follow the path through the Foxholes Plantation towards Longbridge Deverill. From here we turn north and head up though Southleigh Wood before turning west towards Longleat Forest and our return to Shearwater.
There will be one stop for a drink and snack.

Following today's (25/02/26) recce there is water/mud on some parts of the route. Walking boots, gaiters (or wellies) and walking poles are strongly advised.

Please note that the cafe at Shearwater is not open during the week.
