Beginning in Kildale we climb steadily up through Little Kildale Wood then drop down to Leven Vale. Then it's a steady climb up to Kildale Moor followed by a short, steep descent to Hob Hole. Another climb takes us up and across Little Hograh Moor which can be wet. Walk poles useful on this stretch. After lunch on Gt Hograh Moor we descend into Baysdale then it's the final steady climb onto Warren Moor where we join the Cleveland Way for a long, gradual descent into Kildale. Probably my favourite walk!
Whilst none of the climbs are difficult, the 1784' of ascent puts this walk at the harder end of moderate.
