We are the Mid Wiltshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
From Marshfield we descend, steeply at times, to St Catherine's Brook and weather permitting walk along part of Limestone Link, past St Catherine, (along quiet road if brookside too wet), rising to Oakford Lane and then steeply to Ashwicke and across fields back to Marshfield to walk along the historic High Street. Good views possible throughout walk.
Varied route over fields, tracks and potentially quiet roads-dependent on ground/weather conditions. Some steep ups and downs, can be slippery and muddy sections when wet, poles recommended. Several stiles. Cattle and horses possible in fields .
Bring refreshments for one coffee stop.

The walk starts at The Almshouses, High Street, Marshfield.Roadside parking available here. Additional parking available at adjacent lay-by at western (Bristol) end of Marshfield's long High Street.
