We will start at Northwood Hills Underground station and soon enter the open and rolling countryside around London and head towards Harefield via the Parish Church. After a picnic lunch on Harefield Green we will walk to Rickmansworth via Woodcock Hill and the Aquadrome. The walk will end at Rickmansworth Station.
Train: Metropolitan Line trains frequently run from Baker Street station to Northwood Hills Station. The 9.57 from Baker Street will arrive at Northwood Hills Station at 10.25.
Rickmansworth Station for the return journey has both Metropolitan Line trains to Baker Street and also Chiltern Line trains to Marylebone giving a frequent service.
Lunch: Picnic lunch on Harefield Green with coffee shops / pub in the village.
Toilet: Northwood Hills Underground Station have toilet facilities at the start of the walk. Toilets are available in the cafes around our lunch stop on Harefield Green. Toilets are also available at Rickmansworth Aquadrome and at Rickmansworth Station at the end of our walk.
