Burnicombe, Hel Tor Rock, Blackingstone Rock, Laployd Plantation, Kennick Reservoir, Clampitt House, Bridford, Windhill Gate, Lower Lowton Fam, Bridford Wood and return.
A walk using quiet lanes, footpaths and bridleways, visiting two of Dartmoor’s fringe tors, Hel Tor and Blackingstone Rock. There are some ascents and descents, which will make the walk at the strenuous end of moderate, but the ridge walking does reward you with fine and extensive views.
