We start by walking to Bere Alston station (which has very limited parking, hence the 10.00am start in the village) to board the 10.31 train for the very short journey south to Bere Ferrers. From here we follow the Tamara Way north along the banks of the River Tamar to Calstock viaduct, from where we return to Bere Alston village. Please check with website or walk leaders for any changes prior to the walk. There is no ticket machine at Bere Alston, therefore it is recommended that walkers purchase their rail tickets in advance if possible (£3.60 single or less with railcard).
