Overview

This is my favourite Dartmoor Walk. We start by walking across the Meldon Dam and then follow Red-a-ven Brook to the base of West Mill Tor. After finding the military track, we head up Yes Tor, followed by High Wilhays then Dinger Tor and finally Lints Tor. We then head along to the West Okement River and Black a Tor Copse before following the Reservoir back to the cars.

This is a moderate walk with some steep and muddy sections.

Please come equipped for Winter walking on the highest points in Southern England. Full waterproofs, warm clothing and good walking boots are essential!

Please see the screenshot for the route. The only slight change is we won't be crossing the river after Lints Tor.
