We are the West London Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Follow 'The Ridgeway' over Pitstone Hill with good views towards Ivinghoe Beacon. Descend to Pitstone Village and College Lake Wildlife Centre at Bulbourne. The nature reserve lakes are set in former chalk quarries, supporting more than a thousand different wildlife species. The Eco Visitor Centre has stunning views of the lakes and a small Cafe, gift shop and toilets. Bring Picnic lunch with time for drinks later at the cafe after completing the 2 mile Wild trail around the reserve, giving us lovely views and hopefully spotting birds from the hides. Finally, we follow the GU canal back to Tring Station.
