Overview

It is Christmas Eve and there is no doubt a lot going on but I am sure a few of us would like a breath of fresh air before the festive frolics. This walk is familiar ground for most of us but I wanted to keep it simple in terms of minimal driving and a guaranteed finish time no later than 1pm. Likely to feature are Becky Addy Wood, the fringes of Turleigh, Elbow Cottage, the K&A Canal and Barton Farm Country Park, with the exact route being dependent on the going underfoot as in wanting to avoid mud.  A couple of climbs, but nothing too strenuous, with seasonal jumpers and mince pies banned optional.  Bring snack.
