This linear walk follows the London Loop (incorporating the Three Common Walk) anticlockwise from Hayes to Petts Wood. It’s linked by paths through Hayes Common to Keston Common with its ponds which are the source of the River Ravensbourne. We pass the Wilberforce Memorial Oak with views across to Biggin Hill and thereafter to Leaves Green and along fields to High Elms Country Park for a lunch stop. Please bring a packed lunch.
The final section of this walk takes us through Farnborough, Darrick Wood, Sparrow Wood, and Jubilee Country Park. Some paths will be muddy after rainfall. This is one of the greenest section of the Loop with a feel of being deep in the countryside.
