A linear walk from Kings Langley Station to Amersham Station through the Chilterns hills in Hertfordshire. Countryside route with potential sites of interest: church in Kings Langely, woodland on Chipperfield common, vistas of Chess river valley, church in Latimer. May be possible to see emu, alpaca or other exotic animals! An additional walk can be done in Amersham (after the main walk) to visit the old town of Amersham. Bring a packed lunch.
Trails may be muddy.
Limited toilets along route. Station toilets at Kings Langley and Amersham may be locked on Sundays.
No exit points along route.
Travel: Take the 9:5m London Euston arrives in KIngs Langley at 10:16AM.
Buy a single ticket to Kings Langley and a single from Amersham (Metropolitan Line or Chiltern Railway).
Parking available at Kings Langley but no transportation is available between Kings Langley and Amersham.
No booking required.
