An opportunity to take photos of river life in London whilst we walk from London Bridge, over Tower Bridge and along the River Thames to take in the changes that have happened over the last 50 years but can still see the scars of the past. For those who love their pirates, this is the chance to get your imagination going!
The walk will end at the Prospect of Whitby though there will also be a street food and stalls market nearby. I will be giving some historical insights so this walk will be a start-and-stop one.
Walking pace will be steady and is not one for fast walkers.
The walk will involve walking on pavements but as there will be the chance for those who want to walk down to the river shores, shoes with good grip are strongly advisable. Toilets available at start & end of walk.
Start Station: London Bridge Railway Station [Nothern and Jubilee line Zone 1]
End Station: Wapping Underground Station [Windrush Overground Line Zone 2]
No booking required.
The finishing time is an estimate only and will be dependent on a number of factors such as, weather, the speed at which the group walks and the number of breaks taken.
