An opportunity to take photos of river life in London whilst we walk from London Bridge, over Tower Bridge and along the River Thames to take in the changes that have happened over the last 50 years but can still see the scars of the past. For those who love their pirates, this is the chance to get your imagination going! I will be giving some historical insights so this walk will be a start-and-stop one.
The walk will end at the Prospect of Whitby where people can have food and drink.
Walking pace will be steady and is not one for fast walkers. Based on past photo-walks, it has been difficult to estimate the length of time ihe walk will last.
The walk will involve walking on pavements but as there will be the chance for those who want to walk down to the river shores, shoes with good grip are strongly advisable. Toilets available at start & end of walk.
Start Station: London Bridge Railway Station [Northern and Jubilee line Zone 1]
End Station: Wapping Underground Station [Windrush Overground Line Zone 2]

London Bridge Railway Station Meet outside Accessorise shop - Tooley Street exit. If taking the underground, follow signs for Hays Galleria and Tooley Street and turn right onto Tooley Street. Entrance/Exit for London Bridge Railway Station is further along. Accessorise shop is just inside the entrance.
Wapping Underground Station Pelican steps are adjacent to The Prospect of Whitby pub. Walkers can choose to depart before reaching this point as we will be walking past Wapping Station.
